Gecko; for practice

Post by froo »

Well, this is another thing I was toying with, using Sculptris.
It's a gecko head. Not really realistic but it's a good practice type thing.
I really like Sculptris. :D

Thanks Steinie!
I'm going back and forth between modelling and coding.
Working on the nurbs plugin is fun, but I also feel that
there are so many other free options out there that already
work, where the developer has more resources from which
to draw. So I don't know if it'll ever be finished. It's better
to do it 'for fun', and to keep my skills sharp. I still want
to check out blender's implementation, for example. It
probably already works well, so it may be better to use
it and import an OBJ into trueSpace for further work.

I think I'll try to focus on this gecko, making improvements.
