The evolving cell picture...

Post by CdeB »

It now seems I am doing the book cover for a textbook I am editing :) . This is probably close to a complete version but any comments will be welcome! I changed the view you see in my avatar and added some features. The molecule floating above the cell is a stylized representation of the family of molecules I have been working with for 25 years!

(I am still on the search for programs other than photoshop to handle trueSpace created psd files from multipass rendering . Just road tested demos of new Corelphotopaint X4 and Photo Paint Pro X2 and they still don't handle psd layers created by trueSpace  . Does anybody have latest photoshop elements -(I have version 2 which works fine with psd layers but now the Elements version looks very different from the full version, so I am not sure how it goes with handling layers? Photoline has been suggested and as I have said in another thread GIMP almost works...)

As a biologist it is interesting how much people are using the word evolution outside its biological context and meaning -but with deliberate nod to it. So in my current 3D World there is an advert for the "Latest evolution in 3D graphics workstations". I certainly wouldn't want to buy a workstation that had "evolved by itself" - I want intelligent design  Any responses to this quip should definitely go to an off topic thread :D
