Think so? I have them at 15 feet..hmm. Well I will recheck with my Dutch windmill images.

Hmn... It could work, maybe they are a bit to short... It looks that way from this perspective, maybe not from another?
I'm Dutch so I should know ;) Then again, I've not seen that many windmills for many years since I actually live in Sweden.

I think, the reason for what the wings appear short is, they are aligned with main axes of the mill building. This makes them rather subsidiary role in this model. Rotate them 45° to better judge the proportions. Or just animate them :) by the way.

Thanks for the input. Now that I got to looking the windmill directory I agree. I extended the length to 25 feet and I also redesigned them. The length also inclueds the arms that will attach to the drum. I might take them down to 20ft if they look to big.

In the past the men had caught the wings from the ground to start them up or to lay the canvas.
