the light is the only light in the scene and I tried to enable shadow but it wont show the shadow even I enable shadow, and also is there a way to make the ambient light generate shadow, the only light that can create shadow is the directtional light.
thanks in advance.

Re: Custom infinite light
I'm using workspace side and the custom infinite light but it seems it doesn't show shadow even it is enable.
I think it is not supported by the workspace render engine.

Re: Custom infinite light
Ambient lights don't cast shadows almost be definition. They only brighten a scene evenly. The only workspace lights that cast shadows are spot, projection and directional.DarkScythe wrote:the light is the only light in the scene and I tried to enable shadow but it wont show the shadow even I enable shadow, and also is there a way to make the ambient light generate shadow, the only light that can create shadow is the directtional light.

Re: Custom infinite light
thanks for the answer, I am asking this because I put the custom infinite lights into a scene and theres no shadow,
and also I notice that the ambient light and infinite seems the Ideal light for a scene "try this create a cornell box and put the ambient light and infinite inside it you will notice that it is close to G.I. and ambient ocllussion" if only the two lights can create shadow.
p.s. delete other lights when your trying the cornell box use only the ambient and infinite light.
I made mistake a while ago reedited it on what lights should be use sorry for that
