Missing Arrow (to bottom) on the forum pages

Post by the_ant »

Hi all the tSp magicians and users...

thanks of all your posts with useful upgrades, tips and tricks...my passion for this software will never die!!

My question is about forum navigation into long posts:

in some cases (like the Unofficial Upgrades page by the greats trueBlue & Clintonman) i would may jump from top to bottom and vice-versa

but i've noticed that the arrow to jump to the bottom is missing.

It would be possible to have something like shows in the attached?

Thanks in advance and have nice Caligari days to all of you... :bananacheers:

It seems that jump to a specific page...not to the bottom of same page...

I see the arrow everywhere. Can you post a full screenshot showing the missing arrows?

Hi Clintonman
all the arrows in any post are only upward...to the top of page

when in a post like the last page of UnoffUpgrades by trueBlue i usually download entire post in my NBook first (to read it later) and then would may jump to the bottom to download the upgrade file ...so i must scroll the (very long :worship: ) post using the scroll bar of the browser (or by mouse wheel) thinking it's better if i could do that by clicking in a (missing) arrow that point downward the page... :D

NB. i use the "ascending sorting by time" in the order options so the last post in page is at the bottom... HiH

I understand now.
There was never a scroll to bottom arrow and you are requesting a customization, I thought you were saying it existed then disappeared.
I see you found a workaround, another way is to use the home and end keys to move to the top and bottom of the page. This works on all web pages.

I knew this way...but i must use the keyboard (i'm right-handed so must abandone the mouse and go to the keyboard or do it with the left hand). nevertheless the pag-up or pag-dn scroll the page gradually (not immediately like my request) ...

Nice tip. I always fall into the MMB click scroll by accident and it was slow and inconvenient. But if you move it far enough it is really fast.

That seems to be a good solution trueBlue...in Italy we say it's a "Columbus egg" (simpliest alternative solution) :worship: :bananacheers:

I was today years old when I learned what the 'Home' and 'End' keys do. Huh.
