More Viperfish Problems
I have finally made it into chapter 4 (somehow) and notice that the fish in the tut is solid and mine is a wire mash. Also he said to set it so the dots go downl the middle and there is a blue dot to tell you where to place it. I cannot get that to work for me. I think I am not holding my mouth right again.

Re: More Viperfish Problems
I cannot send a screen shot for some reason.
The extension rsscn is not allowed.(This is what I get.) My Print Screen Req doesn't work either.
Anyway, the panel below the fish had disappeared. When I finally found a way to view it , it was not attached to the bottom of the fish screen. I haven't looked through the book to try to find the answer yet.
I had put the sphere in the eye socket and then was trying to change the color of the sphere. When he started going through the different things to click, It messed up.
I don't know how to fix this except to begin the section all over again and hope the panel resets itself.

Re: More Viperfish Problems
Put your scene in a zip file if you want to post it here.

I think it worked this time. I don't understand why the .zip is almost the same size as the other one.

Re: More Viperfish Problems
Never mind that problem. I started a new scene with the icon at the bottom and then used the library for Ch 4.4 adding the eyesocket to start from there.
The download didn't work for me.Don't now what I did wrong. I chged it to a .zipusing the procedure from ask.com and it was almost the same size as a .zip as it was without the zip.(?)
If I am getting to be a bore with all these problems please let me know. I am beginning to feel like I am bothering everyone.

Feel free to keep asking Ken. I'm glad you were able to get it sorted.
