Messiah has a slider that you just slide over to create the '3d' image, the further along it is the more the red and green images are spread. I think i just renders out like a normal animation, though i haven't tried it yet.

thank.
Do you know if the industry will have a standard as DVD and bluray have their own standard?
i would like to know if there is a soft to create this kind of file from 2 files created separately (one for each eye)?
i think it is only a professional world today. but it is just for info. This technology will be important in a few years as hd tv become important today.

Hi marcel,

don't know if this topic is still actual. If you're interested in further infos, this link might be useful for you. Stereoscopic Player & Stereoskopic Multiplexer Software. As far as I know the player is limited to 5 minutes in the unregistered version.

Although consider, there is still no definate standard in HDTV and Bluray at the moment (info ct' from July), seems they work hard on it.

There is a book available "3D Movie Making" by Bernard Mendiburu. Discussing the whole topic - subtitel: "Stereoscopic Digital Cinema from Script To Scene" - not only theory & techniques. Covered is also the aspect of 3D as a helper for the story, rather than a gimmick.

I don't have good experience with it, the only time I go see a 3D movie he looks gray and not colorized and the 3D sensation is not good, maybe I'm wrong but after that I never see anything 3D at movies again...

thank for the infos BooxieMalone.

Leonregis: A lot of 3dmovies are bad because the technologie is old. since several years the movies are better. I see some movies really good in experimental cinema. I think when the techno will be perfect (and without glass) the images will be more natural as a stereo sound is more natural than a mono sound. some 3d tv for 2010 or 2011 have micro prism on the screen and you don't need glasses. But we need to wait 3 or 4 years to have enought movies and 3d program to see.

Interesting marcel thanks for the info. It's just a question of time...
The last time I see 3D movies again was one year ago, so it's not much time... Anyway the tech is old and the same of decades ago
