Once you get your car running again, I would recommend the item in the following image to stay on the "grid."

Boy do I know the feeling. Yesterday was a total fiasco! All of my computers were misbehaving badly, I had a hell of a time showing my nephew how to make a CD copy, my new laptop's CD tray wouldn't open, my nephew's PC kept doing the blue screen of death, my own PC kept restarting all by itself, and I was just plain pissed off because nothing seemed to go right that day. My thoughts are with you Froo. Leroy. :bananatyping:

That's ok Draise; getting back on track. It was just the starter. Cost a pretty penny but it could've been the whole damn electrical system: starter, alternator, battery, ignition, door locks... etc. I can get back onto the site stuff tonight. GAH. Still makes me annoyed. But hey when my wife gets the car it should be in really good shape, since so much has been replaced.

Haha funny james! I should take a pic of my wife's car; maybe we can pimp it out with that stuff. It's a good car but looks like a total wreck. Been hit on all sides but the underside. well that side too.

BNG: Sorry to hear that man! It'll get better!

Aaaand here we are again!

While driving to work on the highway in heavy traffic and heavy rain, my car just freakin dies! Geeez! Luckily I was able to coast over to the right shoulder, call a tow truck (that was covered through insurance) and have the car taken to the repair shop. Basically I killed the battery trying to restart it. Man! I was really worried someone would plow into me from behind at 60 miles per hour. Now that would have totally sucked. So I got to the shop, had my wife come get me, etc. etc. Got to work at 4 PM; leaving at 8 PM. No wonder I drink! I didn't have the contact info for anyone on my team ( I am fairly new to the team) so once I got home from the repair shop I called someone I knew and asked for email and phone numbers. They were lookin for me since I didn't update my status on progress. Heh. Ah well. Almost time to go home and I am ahead of schedule. Geez.

Play it again, Sam.

THIS time, the alternator had to be replaced. On a seemingly unrelated note, the car appeared stuck in overdrive on Friday, even from a stop. I thought the transmission controller was fried but when the shop looked at it Saturday, the gears were working just fine. Weird. But they had trouble getting it to start. So they warrantied out the battery and starter, and replaced the alternator. I get it Monday morning. Fun. I hope this is it for awhile. Sometime next year my wife will inherit this car when we replace hers with a newer one. Once that happens, hopefully, the car will need fewer repairs since she does not drive as much as she does.
See, this is why I have a hard time doing 'fun stuff' :|

Don't be silly.

Arighty! Where have I been? Hmmm work work work, getting headshots (finally selected one today), getting my wife to shoot indie films and audition, etc. etc. etc.

BTW; speaking of 'water', check this out, made by local Denver filmmaker David Quackenbush. Very cool.
