Dribble UI Fix

Post by clintonman »

The right side of the Dribble UI was cutoff. Replace the dribble tsx with this one.

Just curious and a bit offtopic, is Dribble now free? Or do you still need to buy a license. And when yes, where?

@Tiles: Yes, Dribble is free now :)

@Clinton: I just installed 3Delight 9.0, re-installed Dribble (that was not present on my new computer), copied your shaders, and loaded your new tsX in trueSpace7.6.
The panel is okay and I can run a Dribble render.
I found that no lights are visible in the scene though (only the default 3Delight scene lightening), and Dribble shaders don't work (no fur, no SSS, not even bitmap textures). Is it normal, or did I forgot something in the install ?

Lights work for me. I've only done simple renders with cubes, textured cubes and cylinders. You should post your scene in the dribble bugs section so I can look at it.

Maybe in a couple of weeks I'll know enough to just answer dribble questions, but I have very little experience at this time.

I've started collecting links on the wiki. Now Dribble and the fixed shaders link are at the bottom of the list:

The dribble installer is mixed in with the source code. The installer is in a zip file inside

The Dribble UI seems to be fine for me (truespace 7.6). Maybe it's because I'm still using the previous dribble install, all I did was install 3delight 9.0 and update the recompiled shaders.

Anyway, great to see someone working on this, Dribble has the potential to supercharge rendering in modeler. :bananathumb:
