Is it possible to create your own or customize "modelspace" icons in trueSpace 7.6.1 ?
I think I've found the location of the interface icons: \ts761\tS\Scripts\UI\images.
I believe they are all .bmp files, so that means that they can be altered right?

Re: trueSpace Icons
don't work. i think all the icons are merged in one file (dll or other). you need to know where is the file and how to edit it.

You can try a program like Res Hacker to edit the DLL files, then (if you find the icons there) you should be able to extract them, edit them and load them back in to the DLL file.

Re: trueSpace Icons
Mikom, thanks for the link. The program helped me to locate the file with the icons. Lots of work to redo all the icons in the interface so I leave them for what they are but it would be fun to redo them and create a whole new look, like the icons in Cinema4D, I realy love those. Much respect for all the work that Paul Woodward has done designing the icons.

Re: trueSpace Icons
You can also traduce trueSpace in an other language. you can see here that the tool "Bevel" is now a french "chanfrein"

Re: trueSpace Icons
Thanks Emmanuel for pointing me to tSCommon.dll
It's a lot of work to change all icons but I start with a few to see how things evolve.
If all icons would look like the simple ones in Rhino, that would be great.
Marcel, how did you change the language?

Re: trueSpace Icons
-open reshacker and load tS7.exe (create a copy before)
-find the txt you want to traduce
-place the new txt between parentheses.
-save tS7.exe
simple but very long to traduce all the txt.
you can also change the logo at the start of TS with the same method
-find the logo
-replace with a new bmp

Re: trueSpace Icons
Actually, I think Res-hacker automatically creates a back-up but yeah, that's how you do it

Re: trueSpace Icons
Thanks Marcel, indeed lots of work to translate everything.
Emmanuel, how did you change the icons in RSLayers? They look better that way.
