3D-encyclopaedia documentation project.
This is a test project, if all goes well, it will be a long term production. TS is the main modeling tool but I don't have the time to learn its animation & light setting, so rendering will be in Carrara.
Have been an artist for too long and would like to make a difference with free 3D assets meant for education.

It is a project without limits. It depend of what you can do in the future. Why not promote Trueplay for a realtime render section in your project if you do the model with truespace? I think Trueplay is free to distribute. I would like to know what soft you use to create the 3dencyclopaedia.exe file.

Re: 3D-encyclopaedia documentation project.
Ts is the primary modeling software, unwrap in Blender, textured in Zbrush and animation will be rendered in Carrara 6 pro. It is a book with VCD to facilitate digital transition, meaning for children who don't have a computer. TruePlay is certainly a good idea but will only prepare them for online distribution later.

Hey that is really a fantastic use of trueSpace.
I still remember when you joined Caligari Forums so I'm
glad you decided to come over here.
Thanks for sharing.
One thing I notice and I really don't know the answer.
Do the lungs change volume in the way you show?

Re: 3D-encyclopaedia documentation project.
I only learn about the lung's when I research on the subject, it is not like sponge that squeeze out air and go back to original state and inhale, its neutral state is actually exhale and it is the diaphragm and torso muscles that drag like a simple hand pump.
So when the diaphragm contracts / pull down, the lungs cavity stretches and widen cavity thus air rush in, I shall put arrows to emphasize the diaphragm otherwise people will think like the lungs change volume, thanks for the reminder.

Re: 3D-encyclopaedia documentation project.
Well, it is just a product to bridge the digital era for my country where most children don't have internet access. Not the type you will expect as a 3D artist. I have to work on other things until they get the sales result and will resume if the product can sell.
