Keep down-sizing the original idea (mechanic working on the bot whose inner workings are exposed and its on a lift). Will go to Gimp to finish/pretty it up as I won't have time to do a better job.

That was the idea; the guys working on the exposed head with mucho geariness.
Have a massive cold (a full blown winter cold... in the summer. Go figure) and have been down for a week now. Don't know what I can do before the deadline. I'll see.

Got to share the pic I had imagined after all. Didn't have time for textures or extras like dirty ashtray, background stuff, more tools and gears... but you get the idea.
A wireframe pic would be meaningless as meshes aren't optimized or have correct subdivisions. Other than the screws the meshes are the 'clay forms'. I would next build the head up starting with new meshes.
This truly was a mish mash of ideas. This head just ain't what I would build for this body but it was fun and instructive just the same. Wish I could have finished the concept.
Now back to clearing out this cold.

I like this character. You should put him in an animation. Get well soon.
