When I texture my models, I like to keep photoshop open in another window. This way, I can make modifications to the uv map and then see immediately how they look on the model. The only problem is that I have to close then reopen GS/TS whenever I want to updated the material and see how it looks in GS/TS.
Is there another way to achieve this? Is there a way to 'update' or ''refresh" materials without having to close out og GS/TS?
Thanks in advance!
Is there a way to 'refresh' materials?

In trueSpace 7.6 and 7.61 you can do this with the workspace side UVE. Set the external image editor path in the UV Editor Preferences panel, then use the Edit texture in external tool icon.

Dunno, I think that feature was added when Marek reworked the UVE for Workspace.

It seems to be refreshing on it's own - in other words when you render the scene, the current material is rendered - just the placeholder graphic does not update in the work views.
Thanks!
