Frustrated with TS.
Ok this is an issue I am having, and I am not sure if it is 7x64 related or a TS issue. It seems to loose my txtures, or it corrupts the scene. I saved the entire scene as a .cob file, but TS will not open the load object menu. When I click on it, it just does nothing. Also I can't close it. I have to task manager out of it.

Re: Frustrated with TS.
I am using TS 7.61 with window 7x64 and have no problems saving or loading objects and scenes. I have been using windows 7 for 3 months but have not saved any textures.
How often does this happen?
Check your windows 7 event log in the control panel under System and Security.

Not clear on the concept of saving a scene as a cob. Shouldn't you just save it as a scene file?

Re: Frustrated with TS.
i know this issue and i don't have this error since i use only 7.6, bridge off and model side. 7.61 is bad for model side and better for workspace. use 7.61 if you use the workspace. But you need to know all your work made with 7.61 model side can have a problem with 7.6 model side (as the texture and more) if you had bridge on when the file was saved. if you work only with model side then choose the 7.6 version and the issue disappears with all new scene created from this version (some time not with scene imported from 7.61).

Re: Frustrated with TS.
The workspace import/export options are quite limited compared to the modelside options. I've yet to see an rsobj or rsscn file converter anywhere other then perhaps TS itself. The bridge may be useful for this purpose using the saveas function on both the work and model sides. It's somewhat sad that textures would be so troublesome in TS.
