can one of the moderators please check what the end date for the poll is?

It shows "Poll runs till Wed Dec 30, 2009 10:14 am" to me but carlpatti said it showed tomorrow morning at 4:14 am?

It should be 7 days from now, which is on the 30th...

So far there are only 16 votes for the MMC - out of almost 500 members!

Is there a way - for future MMC and SMC voting polls - to post an announcement on the main Board Index page that there is a vote in progress? Or have the voting polls automatically show up at the top of the "Active Topics" and "New Posts" lists?

The way it works now, the poll gets lost in time, meaning that unless someone posts to the voting poll topic, it does not show up as a new post.

The MMC and SMC are such an important part of this forum - there must be a way to increase the number of entrants and the number of people who vote.

Anyone have any other ideas? :idea:

Would be helpful if this could be done. I do post a notice in the general section but it does not draw much response so far... :(
