I think Marcel is the perfume bottle expert here but...
I really like your rendering. The stem being distorted by the glass is excellent. :bananathumb:
The background is great and the lighting is very nice. There are a couple things that
I would consider. The horizon line would look better blurred slightly. The shape of the bottle
makes me wonder "how does the person hold it?" I would have etched the name of the product
"Blue" into the bottle instead of a label.
I'm glad you posted this really cool rendering.

Wow just one more day without a post and you would have been history! ;)

we can criticize image and design and technology in different ways. The image is only an artistic point of view. Is the kind of criticism that we do on this forum. The design is more subjective to analyze because it responds to a request and he does must be judged in this sense not only for his artistic quality. This is not the easiest. Technology is just a feasibility analysis. On this last point, there have many things to see as the crimping of the pump, setting the cap and the distribution of the thickness of glass. manufacturing in a automatic mold would be a big problem to remove the model and could increase the number of bottle to recycle because of the cooling glass. If it were handicraft work for a small amount, will be possible to achieve it i a semi automatic mold but would be a shame to put a standard pump. In fact the 3D image represents a small portion of work for the study design.
About the image it is a good start. If you use another object to represent the interior of the glass (not a substraction), don't forget to inverse the normal of this object to have a more natural effect of glass. It is easier to control refflect on the glass with 2 objects (one for the botlle and one for his interior).you can setting differently the objects. for example, when the bottle is full of water, the interior have less refflect and a different setting of refraction. Also don't use "receive shadow" inside the bottle, etc...

Yes that is a big improvement.
I liked the original background better. For some reason
I pictured the Product text on the bottle as being indented but I'm not sure
if that would be an improvement from what you have now.
Why are you using red in the text?

Thanks Steinie.. :D

I used Red in the text for contrast
mainly.. Plus it makes you take a second
look to see a the name of a coler presented
in the wrong coler... I think...

Look like plastic bottle for the material and cleaner bottle for the design. Glass need some work inside the bottle different than plastic, even if you use the glass setting. For cristal i use also metal shader or mirror shader to simulate fresnel effect and some trick with TS. Maybe i will do a topic to show this later.
