AutoDesk acquires Caligari from Microsoft

Post by jamesmc »

In an effort to improve their 'real time' work bench in XSI, AutoDesk announced that on April 1 it will acquire the "trueSpace" technology for its software developers. Visioneers have guessed that this will be in support of the new NVIDIA 'super cards' capable of sharing RAM up to 24 gigabytes with the CPU motherboard RAM.
