I just used the forum search for "UV tutorial". The system said that these words were too common. I'd like to see the limits (common words and maybe short words are filtered or not used in searches) relaxed so that more words are accepted.

In the meantime, sometimes you just have to say the magic word.
(or map a new route)

EDIT: Oh crap, it ignored 'UV' and 'Tutorial' in the search string... stoopid compooters.

Don't know if the super mods can actually do anything about it, I think they're stuck with whatever the forum software author gives them.

Chances are the forum uses a MySQL database and the searches use the full text indexing. That is efficient but also ignores short and common words. There is some way to disable or relax that but I doubt the forum software has a control for it. If there is one then I'd like to see it relaxed.

Hi Prodigy! It is not so important. Just something that would be nice if it is easy enough to do. A little creative searching can easily work around it. I'll do some research.
