I dunno. Looks too retro to me. Reminds me of the interface graphics used in some games.

Real boxes to simulate a 3d of real boxes to simulate a 2d interface with 3d effects or real boxes to simulate a 2d interface with 3d effects to simulate 3d boxes with real effects. Is that clear ?
