Here be some old but still very valid plugs for XSI...Even nowadays...

There are a couple others there for 3DS Max...I like the color picker...

I have used some of these in Softimage back in the day when I used Softimage.

I thought you still used Softimage XSI...The shader called 'Diffraction' is still used as a dependency for some more modern libs...
