Still trying to learn not to poke myself in the eye where I had surgery.

Prodigy, if nigec is missing in action, could we give it to MikomDude as runner up to run with the next one? I'm sure nigec won't mind and we'd like to keep the momentum going...

Well, I don't want to see Nigec not get to enjoy his win so here's a suggestion.

Someone start a mini-MMC where participants know it is probably not for a win but just for fun. It will last only, and strictly, until the end of the month. That needs a simple theme so participants can get it done in time. I suggest a theme of Something from the Kitchen.

If Nigec shows up by the end of November then he starts the December one, if not then a quick two day poll picks a mini-MMC winner and he gets December.

My suggestion would be an off-road vehicle of some kind in an action-filled render.

Here is one. Took about an hour so is that a speed model or a MMC?

Used a black and white drawing of a crop circle in DisplaceDatPlace from Cool Powers 2 plugins for the terrain and a box for the floor or ground and two textures.

Off to the family gathering for Thanksgiving now.

Here is mine, OK not a "Perfect Crop Circle" but..
it was done 100% by Aliens from another solar system.
However I'll take full credit if I win...

TrueSpace and VRay utilized for the ear of crops.( Hair)
Lettering done with Photoshop.
