Proposed Anti-Hack Actions
- We pay Hostgator $37.50 plus tax for a Root Cause Analysis then we fix the vulnerabilities found.
- We erase the front page and build a new one from scratch. Delete all its files. Uninstall Joomla and reinstall. Everything there starts fresh.
-- The forum should be unaffected by this action since it is a separate entity from the front page/site. Backups before action of course.
- We sign up for Cloudflare's free service to help protect us. link
- We make our own backups every month or two weeks.
The Root Cause Analysis fee would be paid from the money donated to pay our hosting costs.
