Re: tS & Windows 8
just some old plugins dont work .. like shadermagic... and it needs fresh install (on Xp64 i used old instalation and no need to reinstall with new OS instalation). But it works better than win7.

This is good news!...
I had just purchased a new computer and was crossing my fingers that Windows 8 or 8.1 would work with TS7.6.
I assume TS6.6 works as well?

Re: tS & Windows 8
I just moved from XP 64 to Windows 8.1 x64 and whaoo, it makes the difference.
I have a little problem in tS though : in Modeler side, as I move the cursor over the toolbars, the cursor flickers. In fact, it quickly alternates normal cursor and the one used on the border of Windows, to resize horizontally or vertically. If I stop moving the mouse it returne to its normal state and doesn't flicker.
In Workspace's panels (info toolbar, settings panel, etc) it is even worse.
This doesn't happen in any other program. Only tS.
Anyone having the same experience ? Any tricks to avoid this ?
I can reduce the flicker by replacing the cursor type in Windows's mouse options : I set the same cursor bitmap for standard and resize window type
But this is not a workaround as I loose a handy visual indicator for every program and Windows use.

Re: tS & Windows 8
I have used TS on windows 8.1 for quite some time now, no issues, nice and zippy, specially after patching it. The flickering mouse though, strange... maybe I can reproduce it? I don't use the MS often though!!!

Re: tS & Windows 8
I uninstalled my graphic drivers and there is no flicker. So this is a driver issue. I will install an other release.
Good to know
