Hi all. My company is nearing the completion of a low budget full length feature called "The One Warrior"
I was the lead VFX artist. I had a friend model/texture/rig the dragon for me do to time constraints. I also had some minor help with compositing, just because of the shear number of VFX shots that were required.
All of the 3D elements were done in 3DS Max, barring the dragon. That was done in Maya, which I had to crash course in order to do the animation (yikes). All compositing was done in After Effects.
Here is the trailer (you can watch in 720p and 1080p):
Once the movie is distributed, I may be able to post more of some of the specific effects.

Re: The One Warrior - VFX
Thanks guys.
I'm not sure the exact figure, let's just say between $50,000 to $100,000.
We had a few of names in it:
Jason David Frank: Tommy, or the green/white/gold ranger from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
Dominic Keating: Lt. Malcolm Reed from Star Trek: Enterprise
James Russo: Lot's of stuff. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0751638/"

I like low budget movies. Especially fantasy, sci fi, or action ones. Let us know when and where it can be seen.
