first TS7 tut finished - it's a mouse

Post by Vagabond »

Ok, i worked though the mouse tut and well I learned a lot and had lots of fun. Just wish i had more time to spend on learning and using TS. Any way I know it could use some improvements so please help me out. The first thing I noticed was the mouse wheel cut did not look great. I suppose i could lower the cutting cylinder lower and Boolean it that way. Also, was unable to select and re-paint the soft touch words. Other then those two I thought it was not too bad. Though I am also not very happy with the final rendered image, thought it could be cleaner along the edges of the mouse. (need to look into rendering settings)

Pointers on how to improve are very welcomed and appreciated. I will be attempting to do this again next week without the tuts help.

Thanks for checking them out

Along the edges should be able to be cleanup up with Anti-aliasing in the render settings.

I looks good for your first tutorial.

That looks fine. It's a great tute, ts's booleans are cool if you know what you're doing.

looks good vagabond. Much better than my frist attempt at any of the tutorials. Admittedly I have not done many of the tutorials but that is due to my lack of patience and unwillingness to use what free time I do have (kids sleeping) to learning instead of doing :)

Looking forwad to seeing more of your work on here.
