It would be great if they could turn it into a movie production, only then it would have to be for some old Aperture Science project because this does in no way fit with the newer look.

Perhaps they could get JK Simmons (Cave Johnson) to actually play Cave Johnson, that would be great. :)

What's portal (that people are fans of)? Is it a TV show?

Hehe, no, it is a videogame. Portal one was released 2006 I think with Valves 'Orange box' which was a compilation of their most popular games, portal was just an extra you got when you bought it. The game however was such a success that they started on a sequel which was released earlier this year. Both these games are brilliant in both design and gameplay. Also, though this video displays portal as an action thriller kind of game, it' really not much action at all but more humor and puzzle like. If you're a gamer you should check it out.
If you aren't, you might be able to find some vids on youtube showing you what it is all about.
