Re: A place for those who own guns
I have an old Crossman 760 with a scope. Don't really use it much anymore, but I manage to bring it out from time to time to oil it up and shoot at paper targets. I also have an old Marlin 60 .22 caliber that my dad got for me like 25 years ago. Now that I'm reminded I guess I better dig it out and oil it it up too.darkmage wrote:A place for those who own guns (Especially Airguns) to talk and show off pics of them.![]()

Re: A place for those who own guns
ok, this topc doesnt run much, so i add a little. I dont have gun yet, but i wait to buy one. Money is still an issue, coz i spend them usually on something more important. But I want to buy one within one year if things will get well.
what i want? for start just a handgun: Glock 17C, thats my style, my dream. Later on i want to buy czech SA58 and tune it a little so it will look and feel more contemporary (black paint, rails, carbine like gun-stock, optics, some accessories). After that Iam happy :)
something like this (for instance):

Re: A place for those who own guns
What I'd really love to have is an old assault type that I used to have when I was a Tank crewman on the old M-60 A1 main battle tank. The thing was called a grease gun because it resembles the autmotive maintence tool of the same name. It was a very crude looking automatic weapon that used the same ammo as the old army issue .45 cal colt automatic pistol. Here's a pic of it. I don't have much use for guns anymore, but back in the day I guess I was sort of a desperado in the military.

Here's a pic of the Marlin bro. The other photo is a newer variant with a scope attached.

I believe that the Marlin model 60 is still in production, and is called the Marlin Glenfield. Sort of a nostalgic name don't you think?
