Post by leevviiJ »

Hi all, would there be some way of making electricity/plasma, arc [in an electrical sense] around an object in TS761?

Yes you can put an object around the original one and ad the electricity map with illumination and an alpha for blending out the rest....
It works in every software that supports illuminated textures like Lightwave or view and with someother if you can crank up the ambient very high..

Yes you just need a lightning map and use the negative of it as a mask (alpha).... you can animate that too !

now these are *very very* old:

not sure if they are still even for sale. But they may work.

I wanted to make a lightning plugin but that has been shelved along with
the rest of my interests till we get to Denver.
