Whats cool about 9 is animation integration even with the MDD format...and also fbx import...

According to the site, I can sidegrade an old V6 Infiniti for 99.00. I may do this, though I am going to think about it for another day or 2... Vue has some great possibility, I still hear many complaining about the stability. V6 really was horrible for stability and horrible flicker on your animations.

Oh man I wish a had a few hundred bucks right now. I would snatch this offer up :( I bought espirit a few years ago but returned it because it didn't do much without all the extra modules. But 300 for vue with all the modules! wow! Oh well, maybe they'll have another sale in future.

Has anyone used vue with maya? I would love to know what the workflow and results are like.

There are 2 ways of integrating Maya with Vue..
One is vue stream where Vue is part of Maya....
Second is the same integration as any other package and you wouldnt see much of a difference.....
If your interested at how these packages look when you see them work together with the Big packages....

For all of you who use and study Blender !
Note that Blenders weak part is its render engine..
So you can if you invest into Vue use everything thatr Blender can offer and import it into Vue as an animation
even thing you made in the games engine and also physics animations see this gif from Blender physics...
imported via Collada..
With Mdd you should even be able to transfer anything that moves including fluid animations..

Thanks v3rd3 and Peter, Vue was one of those programs I purchased some time ago, frankly I never thought I would use it again. The old Infinit version would not work on my present laptops. I am dl the new 9.X version now, I also bought the subscription, so that should get me the newest version... hopefully this will fit into the present pipeline of Modo, Messiah, and 3dcoat (though I do not see why it would not)

Thanks for the heads up and reminder.
