Here is Block Man. His super power is to turn into a cloud of blocks. I think he is a good guy but he could be a villain.
This was speed modeling. Around 4 hours total. I used Daz Studio for the first time. It was very easy to use. I adjusted the base character and posed him, then exported to obj, imported to TS 7.6 model side, reduced polygon count from 75K to 6.5K. The idea was to distribute cubes on the character. I tried Particulator from Cool Powers 2 but it distorted the cubes so I used trueParticles with the character as the emitter and no speed.
This uses the global environment light for filling in the black shadows but the GE light makes bright specks on the ground. It usually does that with bump mapped things. I'll change to another light before submitting to the contest.
How can I transfer this character to another scene? Can I turn a frame of the trueParticles animation into a polygon model? Can I save the trueParticles object? I want to put him in the scene with Hear-O.

Re: Finis - Cartoon Character Challenge Block Man
Here are Block Man and Hear-O together.
Should I enter Block Man as a separate challenge entry or change the Hear-O entry to this one with both?

Thanks Pugman. Updated image with a post processed one. A little brighter and more contrast. Entering in contest.

Re: Finis - Cartoon Character Challenge Block Man
(Model Side and Pre-Workspace TS versions) How to transfer a trueParticles item to another scene. Save the trueParts object (find it in the Scene Editor) and the emitter object (if other than the default) as .cob files. Load them into the other scene. Run the animation (that is how you get trueParticles to do something).
For Block Man I saved the trueParts and simplified human figure (emitter) objects.
