The speed of sound record is broken....
As an austrian I´m very thrilled to see Felix Baumgartner break the world record of a human in free fall..(project Strattos..)
1337KM/h ... thats over the sound barrier fora human on a parachute......

Yup, just watched it on a live feed not long ago. Must say, he has a set of "brass ones" to even consider doing that and then doing it.

It went very smooth, was professionally handled all the way to completion.

What happens if the balloon went too high, he jumps out and remains in the same position? How does he get down? :bananatyping:

the ballon cant go to high it gets slower and slower at this altitude.. if it goes over the critical line the balloon bursts...
Its much thinner material then a normal plastic bag...
