3dv posted the 7.0 timer, which fixes the timer event 'jump'.
trueBlue mentioned he fixed that by running a Start script.
Would anyone have that timer object with the Start script?
thanks!
The 7.0 timer seems to work pretty well in port 1109. No freezes yet!

I have Dele's tS7.0 era timer which he states is accurate, here is that one:
and I have one by (I think) trueBlue, which may be the one you are seeking, here is that one:

Re: ts 7.0 era timer, plus Dele's fix
thanks 3dv. Much appreciated!
EDIT:
Sorry tB and Paul; I was logged in, but not present. It seems, if I leave the space,
the timer appears to shut off automatically, which is a nice (although unintended) feature.
So since I was promoting its use, I decided ot keep it running.
And it's still going; which is a great thing!

Now this is fantastic news! Is the timer less, more or the same resource usage froo? This is just another area where trueServe in the past had issues, if this can be solved I am not sure what issues are left. Fingers are crossed and thanks!!

Hi noko. I don't think it's as bad. Dw is kinda low; CPU is still pretty high.
But it works.

Re: ts 7.0 era timer, plus Dele's fix
trueBlue made a discovery while I was with him last night in his shared spaces which could have a very positive impact on this. we will test it some more, but he disconnected the timer checkbox, and in doing so my dw immediately ceased and my CPU hit was low and steady.froo wrote:Hi noko. Yeah i suspect tB is experimenting more with that before discussing his related findings. All i know is, when he disconnected the checkbox everything went smooth as glass from there on!froo wrote:That's really good!
