Hi all i had to give up my job as a bicklayer because of my foot. I had no idea
what to do no money coming in. Then i thought maybe now i could do 3d work somehow
So i looked in the net for the lastcouple of weeks .finaly i found a firm looking for a 3d modeler
I sent of some of my work ,gess what ,today i got a email i have got the job and a 2 year contrak
The firm is a game building firm here in germany i will be doing the modling for there next game.
I am just one of the modelers . At last a dream come true

Wow, this is FANTASTIC news! Certainly much more fun than bricklaying! I am glad that fell through. My career in 3D started out in a similar situation, was an English teacher, decided to take a risk, became a intern in a studio, now I'm a business partner in 3D, future set for a bit doing what is fun and what I love. I'm glad that fell through for you, hope it goes really well, and that you enjoy it. =)

That's great news! I hope your new career continues and grows after this contract too. Will you work at home or go to their location?

Ralph,
are you working from home, or do you work in their studio?
Either way, that is really cool! Excellent experience. Looks like 'doing it for free' turned into a paying gig.
