7.6 and 7.61Beta together?
I have Version 7.61Beta installed now. I am also downloading Version 7.6 now. Will these work in the same computer or will this cause a lot of problems?

Keep everything in their own directories, don't mix them and they will work.
Also are you running out of system or graphics board memory?

Like Steinie said they work fine as long as they are in their own directory...
I have; 3.2, 6.6, 7.6, 7.61b all running on the same hard drive
my Vista experences:
if you are running Vista on AMD dual core, try turning off multi threading, there is an issue with the cpu's being out of sync, usually it'll crash as you apply a material or render something.
Mines a Compaq which seem quite prone to the problem
you need RAM! mine only has 1.5gb and it isn't enough, in real terms by time Vista lights up all the BS you have around 750 to play with, I turned off all the stupid desktop stuff and got a marked improvement.
the beta worked better for me.
Its not just Truespace I had problems with, most commercial 3D software played up to some degree, the free or open source software didn't

I have 2GB Ram and 500GB Hard Drive. It is a new computer but not the best available. Only the best I could get here in the Philippines.
I have 7.6 and 7.61 both installed now and things seem to be working fine.
I am having one problem with the Fish tutorial but I think it is in the tutorial as the second scene in the library for Chapter 3 will make them quit when you right click on it to begin the tutorial. If you use the one before that and redo the body and tail, things work fine. Wish I wasn't having all my problems with the head now.
Lost 4 hours of moving things around today.
