Thought I would try modeling another airplane. Not really coping anything in particular, just eye balling everything
So far slow going, had to start over after first try and on second try decided to started from the prop spinner and go to the rear.
Also having trouble with getting proper lighting for the render in yafaray.
Had to render in the first version (old version) of yafaray as later versions the colors looked washed out.

Models looking good. I would imagine with 3d printing a reality you could probrobly actually make an RC plane for real. Leroy.

Yes, you can, I have seen videos on you tube of this being done. I think they some were using Fusion360 or Simply3D.BNG wrote:Models looking good. I would imagine with 3d printing a reality you could probrobly actually make an RC plane for real. Leroy.
They have to print out small sections and then glue them together. Not really all that unlike the real thing.
Here is a updated model.

Re: Modeling a RC Plane
The belly scoop gives it a P-51 attitude, and would complete the plane's 'face'.
No hot rod is complete without some sort of hood scoop.

Very nice.
I agree with spacekdet. 'bulges exude power', but, it's still what Your eye felt when you created it.
I would vote for the bulge.
