Ok, I'm trying to save a skeleton (selecting the whole thing and right
clicking), I get a small pop-up menu with several options on it but no
SAVE option. (There is a DELETE). In my TSX\ Motion Studio Folder
there is just the Plug-in and a single folder. A "HELP" folder with the
animating instructions. I think I'm missing something ??? I got Motion
Studio from the Primitive Itch (saying goodbye) website. Is there a
license and or reg-code needed ? The SAVE function is supposed to
be disabled if unregistered..... I think this might be the problem....
or I'm doing something wrong.

uhhh....no, no, no.... this is a misunderstanding.

The RIGHT CLICK ON SKELETON thingy is to be sure that you CHOOSE the Skeleton before you save!!! Otherwise you have just selected a bone or a joint or something.

Here again the way to do it:

- RIGHT CLICK in the motion studio window (left side of the window) on "SKELETON" and choose SELECT from the popup menu.
- Now click in the trueSpace menu on FILE -> SAVE AS -> OBJECT and save the complete skeleton as a unique object.

I you have problems to select the skeleton, it is possible that the option "AUTO DRILL DOWN SELECT" is choosed in the motion studio option menu. In this case deselect this option before you do the steps above.

PS: there is no key or anything for motionstudio available. the last & actual version is a complete free version without restrictions.

Hi, folks. I know this is an old topic but it seemed the best place to ask this.
I just got a new computer and I'm reinstalling TS. Now, I've had motion studio on my system for years. I went to download it again on the primitive itch site after, for some reason, my version would not work. Well, under the free stuff, I got the file and.... save is disabled, because it's unregistered and needs a key code. Now, I've reinstalled it before but I cannot for the life of me remember how. Can anyone help, or direct me to the actual free file? Right now, save seems to be disabled. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
