ivam's demoreel - Blender and Truespace

Post by ivampretti »

Hi guys, since TS has been discontinued I started to use Blender, and I felt in love with it. I think that TS is great, but there are some features that need to be included. And blender has almost everything I always want to put my hands on.

So, when I stop using TS I felt a little bit out of place. But Frank Ladner inveted me to get back here and Stenie sad that he wouldnt mind if I help you guys with blender so I decided to start showing you my Demoreel.

I want to say that I miss so much everybody of the CaliForum. So is really rewarding and a great honor be back in touch with all of you. You guys Rocks!!!! Some Bananas for you :bananadevil: :superbanana: :bananamouse:

Nice work ivampretti! I really liked how your character changed expressions and how you
imitated skin tissue acting like gelatin with sudden head movements. Are these basic tools in Blender?

How did you pick up learning Blender so fast? What is the best way for us to get comfortable with the interface?

Great to have you back.

I learned everything I know from tutorials, they are all over the net and all free. You could start just looking for interface tutorials on the google. The blender 2.5 is in alpha stage, but seems to be stable enough for you guys start to practice, because the new interface is really easy for new bies.

Really fantastic stuff Ivam. I will have to check out the new blender, I have always been intimidated by the interface. Some really great stuff on your reel. Thanks for sharing :)
