I am on a french forum and one member make a 3dscanner. The scanner use the David soft! you can have more info about the wip here:

it is in french but you can see pics and video.

another 3d scanner with...milk! and it work!

1 Tupperware Bowl
3 cups of Milk
1 custom LEGO rig
