Greetings,
My bookmark for the tSCommunity forum stopped working last night. My bookmark had pointed to: http://www.tscommunity.co.cc/forum/index.php. Now that web address goes to some sort of a domain parking page advertising http://www.tscommunity.co.cc as being available for sale.
With a little experimentation, I discovered that if I drop the "www." from the beginning of the address, I could once again get here. So I changed my bookmark to http://tscommunity.co.cc/forum/index.php and it works again. Hurrah!
This was strange. I wonder how many others are having this same problem and think that tSCommunity has gone offline...
Best regards, First Light

Re: Problem with tSCommunity web address...
Hello again,
Here's more information: Not everyone is experiencing the problem. For example, Justin ("nowherebrain") is able to access tSCommunity using the domain name with "www." in it. Yet I'm still having the problem.
I tested this with another "clean" computer and still had the problem. The tSCommunity domain name goes to a domain ad page whenever "www." is included in the web address. Remove "www." from the address and I can reach this forum without further trouble.
The symptoms lead me to suspect that the problem is with whichever root DNS server that I'm being routed through. It's IP address table may have been corrupted or hijacked.
I also tried pinging both versions of the tSCommunity web address and I receive different IP addresses for each.
I hope this information is helpful to our admins.
Best regards, First Light

Re: Problem with tSCommunity web address...
Greetings yet again,
The tSCommunity web address with "www." is working again. Perhaps, if a root DNS server was having trouble, it has been reset. Everything seems "normal" again. Case closed.
