Yeah that's pretty cool. I sure hope it comes out in normal 2D as well though since I don't really like 3D movies because they make my head hurt (and it's not really 3D either, it just is two 2D shots put together to give an illusion of depth, but hey...) 
Also though I love the other Lord of the Rings movies, I somehow doubt this is going to be as good.
