Like that theme. Good too that you made the contest end at the end of next month. That gets us back on schedule.

Ok, I'm game.
Life threw me another doozy of a curveball this week. Gonna hurt for a while. How to handle depression? Some use drugs, alcohol, sex. I use art (but will consider possibly a lil sex also). Anyway...
Gonna start brainstormin'.

I haven't done any 3D work for a very long time now due to a lengthy illness. This months MMC looks like a great opportunity to try and get back into it again. Fantastic choice for subject matter and some very interesting entries/projects so far.

Okay, getting it lined up for the voting poll, trying to re-align the "stars", well getting monthyl modeling challenge back in sync with the calendar anyway. :)

Here's what I have for a list of entries and titles. Please let me know if I missed anyone and if there is no title name please let me know what you call your entry.

Thanks

First of all, a big well done to James for running an excellent compo. Not only a great theme, but a rather spiffy poll and a nice polish-up of the competition rules. Also, congrats to the other participants as I thought there were some very clever/intriguing entries. And last but not least thanks to all those community members who took the time to vote. Much appreciated. :bananacool2:

I do not know if there is an appetite to get stuck straight into another MMC as we hit mid-summer with all that that entails. Perhaps you all could give me some feedback on your thoughts.

Anyways, as a potential theme, I was thinking of the one of the following:

1. DANGER!
2. OMG! Its a giant...
3. Hero's/Villain's lair or hideout.
4. Corridor\Alley-way
5. Scene from a movie.

Any Interest\thoughts\comments?

Hmmm, I'm attracted to:

3. Hero's/Villain's lair or hideout.
4. Corridor\Alley-way

Maybe it's because Steinie hides his prune juice cider in a post-revisionist Batman cave?

Congratulations!

Of course, a high participation MMC is more fun but I think we should try to stick to the monthly part of Monthly Modeling Competition. So each winner should start the next competition without regard to the expected level of participation.
