Anyone know of any software that can generate certificates, badges etc.
I need it for the educational side of Buddy World so teachers can choose a template, type in the text they need (type of award, recipient, date etc.) then generate a certificate. Would like to do badges and posters etc. the same way.

Unless there is a flash element that would do it.

You're a star. A few teachers have asked for me to supply them templates for certificates and badges etc. It would be much cooler if they filled in the field on screen then printed them off. If it is difficult then I will just make blank certificates and put them in a repository on the site.

Google searches keep throwing up code to make web site certificates...not at all what I need.

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for...but I don't want to cause you any work as I am not really in a position to offer you any payment at the moment. I was hoping there would be some free source code I could adapt but I am very grateful for your offer nonetheless.

The html, javascript or php is not the hard part... the css to format the pages could be a lot of work. I can chip away at the basic script as I get the time over the next several days and then we can tough out the css.

I don't need admin based stuff just the sort of things teachers have to make themselves/or buy to inspire in the classroom.
