Hi all of you

after years and years of tS ModelSide exploration and workaround i decided to explore the "dark-side" of tS (Workspace in StandAlone version)...but all of threads about it seems to be scattered all over the forum...

Also all the goodies and plugins about this version are not grouped on a single setup (like Cellulo does with wanderful tS 7.61 ModelSide 2.1 setup)...

So my question is if almost a grouped topics would be findable on a unic Forum Chapter...

In 2016 i have made a trueSpace 7.61 STD version with all in one setup file installation for myself like i do for the modelside but i never release it on internet and now some plugins have been updated recently maybe i will check my file to remember how i made it to make a new release up to date, these last years i have collected all things related to the Workspace side (objects, shaders etc...)

For the moment i make some test in the tS 7.6 modelside (plugins,shaders,rendering etc..) but i encounter too much crash in trueSpace sometimes in using plugins and sometimes making only basics operations, i don't know what happen maybe it's Windows 10 OS that is no more suitable for the modelside today or it's other thing, i don't know if some users encounter the same problem in Windows 10, i have tested trueSpace for illustrators in Windows 10 and it is more stable than the tS 7.6 modelside but sometimes it can crash without reason.

I don't know if the Workspace side running without crash in Windows 10 because i never use it.

It 's will be cool if some users in the forum can confirm if the modelside running with crash in Windows 10, and confirm if the Workspace side is stable or no in Windows 10.

Thanks Cellulo...installed your MSide 2.1 and it's fantastic (new icons too) in Win10 also!

Anyway... i don't want bore anybody..but it will be very usefull a step by step list of plugins and goodies to install for a complete and updated version of the WorkSide in 7.61b8 (or StandAlone too).

It's very difficult (to me) migrate or explore this final tSp version without a time-table about add-ons/plugins and so on...

I have always dreamed of making the ultimate update for the workspace side. I quite like it and has been one of my favorite 3D experiences - with or without it's bugs. But mostly bugs are easy to reproduce and learn around.

But yes, there is no.. central area.

Just to let you know, if you are ok without lattices, bend deformers and some limited curve/extrude workflows - then the WS is the place for you. The soft select and displacement and brush like mesh deformers are really great, the loops tools and edge draw tools are superior, and the viewport is really efficient and fun - with soft shadows and great shaders.

I will make a hipster webseries with it one day, it's still in preproduction, but will get there. I like it that much...

I would probably look for the best support and scripts/addons for WS here and here
