Hi
While trying to build a skeleton (for the cat suit in the library) ,I found that the bones are formed very far from the object concerned ,arranged along the ground plane .Using the four window view did not make a difference. With much pushing and pulling I got a few inside the object. Previously with 7.6 the software seemed to 'understand ' the approximate location when you click.
Once bones are inside the object ,I can attach and weight paint etc as I had made the layout correction using trueblues script.
Is it a bug or is it just me? Thanks for any views on the subject.

Re: Ts 7.61 Bones
Hi Bala.
Right click the 'Build Skeleton' Tool.
Over at the Library/Panel/Setting tabs, select: Panel
The Joint Placement has 3 options:
Center
Ground
Surface
I think you want Center, to build the skeleton Inside the mesh.
For controlling a mesh using an External skeleton (Exoskeleton, if you will),
choose the Surface option.

Thanks froo for your quick response.
I think that should solve the problem.
