U3DA Graphic Art Challenge - April 2012
Commercial City Street Scene
Pretend to be a professional. Make a city street scene as if you were hired to do it. Write a "client's" description of the job which tells what your imaginary client wants you to do. Invent one that suits your style or that you would like to try. The description can be a simple informal one. Then create the scene the imaginary client wants.
It can be for a realistic scene, an architectural rendering, a movie back drop, a cartoon or comic book, an art piece, ... many styles and purposes are possible.
Since this is to simulate professional, for pay, work and requirements the rules will be strictly enforced (simulating that a pro works within contract requirements), you don't have to model everything in the scene (see rules, simulates that pro's use many resources), and the challenge time is limited (simulates deadline pressure).
The Rules:
0) Use only legal resources, software, images, ... (legally free, open source, public domain, you own a license, etc.)
1) You may use models you make for the challenge, you already made, you bought, and free ones.
1.a) You must model at least two of the main objects in the scene.
2) You can use any software but the main program(s) must be 3D ones like TS, Vue, Maya, Sketchup, Moi, etc.
3) Optional but recommended: Make a work in progress (WIP) thread for each contest entry and post a link to your WIP in the comments thread and/or with your entry.
4) Post your entry in this thread. For each entry include:
4.a.) One finished image no larger than 1024x768.
4.b.) One "client's" description of the job.
4.c.) One wire frame. (Optional)
4.d.) One WIP thread link. (Optional)
5) You may create as many contest entries as you like but each must be a separate project.
Keep this thread clean for entries only. I will ask moderators to move any comments placed here to the comments thread.

Title "Better Late Then Never"
I didn't want two excellent entries to beat each other. This is my sacrificial entry.
Now they can beat ME!
Client Request: Traffic Congestion Problem
Cause: Open window at the "James's Strip Bar Club"
Transportation Improvements: Elevated Rail Route to replace driver's elevated heart rate.
Initial Bidding Cost: 20 Dollars stuffed into Lotta Teeth's bra strap.
This Proposal will also alleviate dead pedestrians when run over after exiting Draise's sewer pipe...
