Installing Vray 1.53

Post by 3dvisuals dude »

I am finally getting around to installing Vray 1.53, but before I do I have a question for those of you who have already installed it...

Should I use my Vray 1.51 Install Password or the generic password that came with the trueSpace 7.6x series free downloads?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I don't remember VRay having a password. When I installed
all versions of trueSpace I always used my original personal
password.

OK thanks Bob, I will use my original password if it asks for one, I don't recall if V-Ray required a password either, I just assumed it would.

I'll let you know after if it even asks for a password, lol.

sorry to ask (I think it is asket 1000 times before). But V-Ray is not for free, is it? I installed Truespace 7.61 BETA and it gives me amazing bad images in the workspace in the comparation to the model view.

Is it possible to get better results with any offline renderer? is There any for free?

you can get really good results from the Workspace real time view using directx shaders.
I believe one of the video tutorial series discusses them. The video tuts are also freely
available from the Caligari site so get them while you have the chance.

I just remembered that I said I would let you know if my VRay install even asked me for a password, and no, it didn't at all, so you were right. :D

VRay rocks! :bananaguitar:
