Super Zero

Post by Steinie »

Super Hero movies are everywhere lately. Green Hornet, Batman, Captain America just to name a few.
When they run out of ideas maybe they'll make a movie about my Super Hero...
Super Zero.

A chastised man disowned by his family because of his insistence on wearing a leotard to family gatherings.

Stay tooned!
More to come.

Notes to Pugman:
Notice how the symmetry is equal and boring on my character? I'll utilize the balance until the initial form is shaped, turn
symmetry off and modify both sides. The "character" of the model will come out.

Looking good so far. yes i forget every time to turn it off
must start doing that.
looks like you have found the perfect tool for your style of modling.it so much easier than pushing polys
but somtimes we have to .
your work is awsome steinie love it
ps. try using the crease tool, you can define the teeth where they meet the gums

Pugman that is a good idea using the crease tool because I tend to forget about that tool.
Froo and Pugman, yep I really enjoy using this software! It feels like Christmas and I was handed a 10 pound bag of M&Ms.

There are issues however and that is the number of polys. To get all my characters into a scene I need to address this major issue. Either retopo the model or use a tool like Decimation Master. I really enjoy using trueSpace for scene setup, lighting etc. so we will see what I can kick out.
I'll be asking for help when the time comes.

I'll get better at modeling as I get comfortable with Scupltris so bear with me. My work currently is an eye sore but in time it will eventually become "Pro Eye Sores"!

Oh wait that means I get MONEY for this stuff.....nahhhh. :(

Super Zero's torso is now modeled and painted. If anyone has ever painted Rat Fink models, you'll
then know how it felt like painting this one. My head is still spinning from all the glue fumes! HAHA
I hope you like it in spite of the fact it is hideous...
