error installing truespace 6.6

I have truespace 7.6 and 7.61 installed and when I installed 6.6 during the install it said "unexpected MSI installation error:3." Does anyone know what this is and if there are any advantages to modeling in 6.6? Thanks!

Don't know about the error. TS 7.6 and 7.61 model side essentially is TS 6.6. You could use model side instead of installing 6.6.

You can have a problem with the installer engine due to an update of MSI. First try without firewall and all software that can crash MSI.

if you can't use 6.6, the best is to use the model side of 7.6 (model side of 7.61 have have some problem to save the setting of your work). also you will have the hdri rendering. the only one problem is if you have a very old pc with only 1 gigas ram. In this case 6.6 was better.
