trueSpace 7.61 Render animation to .avi file problems

Is it Me!
trueSpace 7.6 Save Workspace Animation to .avi file - going to Model Space and using the Render Scene To File, selecting the Workspace option, all Works fine.
When using the 7.61 Beta with all updates added, the same procedure produces an stationary animation when the viewed. It is very slow and the Frame count seems not to be updating from zero.
Has anybody found a solution to this problem?

This doesn't answer your problem (I never saved as an avi file). I have always saved
as individual rendered files in workSpace and combined later into an avi file. It generates files very fast and you have full editing control.

Thank you (Steinie's Gallery) for the .avi file generation solution. I will have a go at it.
It would of course still be nice if the 7.61 version worked in this respect.

Problem, the saving as multiple bitmap images still fails in 7.61 to giva animation as only multiple copies of the first frame result.
Of course 7.6 again works. You could say well use 7.6, but!

I think you will find this is just an issue regarding the settings for the render....
The attached image shows the area where you need to change the settings. In the animation block you need to change the drop down from "current frame" to "modeler". You will then need to set the frames you wish to render.

Thanks for your suggestion but I think you are talking about animations produced in Model space.
When the animation is created in the Workspace the Workspace option must be selected when using the Model space to Save to .avi file.
When you do this in 7.6 it all works so I think that it must be a bug in 7.61

I thought there was a checkbox or dropdown option available in the Modeller animation
dialog for Workspace animation. I will have to take a look.
Do you see that kind of option, in 7.6 Modeller, but not in 7.61 modeller?

Nope it works in 7.61. I saw this thread and sent the link home from work so that I
could test it out. I had no problems rendering a DX9 (realtime) animation from workSpace.
What did you do to animate the scene?
I generated jpg files after setting the keyframes with no problems.

He's talking about rendering the workspace side from model side and it does work in ts7.6
It's no problem rendering workspace on workspace side. You can see the problem if you have workspace time line open with some workspace animation and modelspace 3d window. If you scrub the time line nothing happens in modelspace. Do this in 7.6 and you see the workspace animation in modelspace.
