btw, congrats for the new toy!

May be that the world will still be there after 2012. but would be a shame to spend money for nothing. I am waiting 2013 to be sure before buy new hardware.

I'm impressed that you could keep it working so long, I fried two computers
since then. I hope the current one lasts longer .

This is the first graphics card I've had with really nice cooling pipes on it.
Maybe I should go watch a movie on the computer.

great buy...iam planning 5870 as soon as i will get some money. along with phenomII istead of phenomI and more ram... its needed. ATI/AMD rulez ;)
I used to work on athlon64 with 1gig RAM, some year and half ago and radeon HD2600 XT in agp. It worked too. But slow compared to my current PC.
